Gloria Hope Taylor-Lichte, 87, of Warren, Pa., passed away on Monday, November 27, 2023, at her home surrounded by her family. Gloria was born on August 30, 1936, in Summerville, Pa., the daughter of the late Warren "Rusty" and Sara Smith Olson. Gloria was a 1954 graduate of Summerville High School. She held many positions at the Blair Corporation, retiring after 30 plus years. She attended the First Methodist Church. On June 4, 1954, in Maryland, she married Raymond J. Taylor. He passed away on May 5, 1999. On March 4, 2003, she married Klause D. Lichte, who survives. Gloria loved to travel all over the world. She was a loving mother, wife, grandmother and great- grandmother. And will be missed by all who knew her. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, LuCinda (Michael) Menard, Randall Taylor, Lorie (Michael) Carr, Julie (Kent) Wilcox; stepchildren, Michael (Nicole) Lichte, Stephen (Yumi) Lichte; grandchildren, Andrea (Mike) Pressley, Beau (Katie) Menard, Ryan Flaherty, Andrew Carr, Bradley Carr, Jacqueline (Tony) Weeter, Jacob (Angela) Park, David Lichte, Gabriel Lichte; twelve great grandchildren; a brother, Richard ( Peg) Olsen; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Gloria is preceded in death by her first husband, Raymond Taylor; her daughter, Jennifer Taylor- Aponte; grandsons, Nathan Park and Dammond Taylor; her daughter in law, Kathleen Taylor; her brothers, Lorain, Donald, William, and Joseph Olson; sisters, Phyllis Harrison, Sally Olson, Kathryn McBride, and Darla Fyock. Friends and family will be received at the First Methodist Church, 200 Market St, Warren, Pa., on Monday December 4, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. to 12 noon, at which time a funeral service will be held with the Reverend Doctor Mark Hecht, officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the WGH Cancer Center, 2 Crescent Park, Warren, Pa, 16365 or Hospice of Warren County, 1 Main Ave, Warren, Pa, 16365.
