Gloria Jean Stanton, 81, of Lander, PA, passed away on Friday August 9, 2024, at Warren Manor.

Gloria was born August 27, 1942, in Warren, PA, the daughter of the late Russell and Mabel Wonderling Davis. She was a 1960 graduate of Warren High School. She was a proud homemaker and wife to her husband Fredric Stanton, who survives, for 62 years. She loved her family and loved to knit.

In addition to her husband Fredric, Gloria is survived by a brother, Michael Davis and his wife Sandra, of Russell, PA, two grandchildren, Patrick Stanton and Heather (Brian) Mohney; one great-granddaughter, Allison Mohney, and several nieces and nephews.

Gloria was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Robert Stanton in 2014; and a brother, James Davis.

Friends will be received at the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home Inc, 1003 Penna, Ave. East, Warren, PA on Wednesday, August 14, from 10:30 am until 12 noon, at which time a service will be held.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations in memory of Gloria be made to a charity of choice.
