Gloria Rieder, 84, of Warren, PA, passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at AHN St. Vincent Hospital in Erie, PA, after a brief illness.

She was born in Brookeville, PA, to the late Aloysius and Elizabeth Mineweaser on September 14, 1941.

Gloria graduated from Brookeville High School in 1959; She worked in accounts payable at United Refining Company for many years from which she retired. She loved her family and was the biggest supporter of her grandchildren and their sporting events.

Gloria is survived by her son, Jon Dean (Lois) Heffner of Warren, PA; her stepdaughters, Joan (Tom) Bradigon of Cattaraugus, NY, and Maryann (Gary) McGhee of Rio Grande, NY; her grandchildren, Kaitlin (Matt) DeFazio and Joel Heffner, step grandson, Joseph McGhee; great-grandchildren, Anderson DeFazio and Arden DeFazio; and her brother, Wilbur (Sandi) Mineweaser.

In addition to her parents, Gloria was preceded in death by her husband, Robert G. Rieder; her brothers, Paul (Kay), Earl, Al (Jean), Gary (Mary) Mineweaser; Dary (Patricia) Mineweaser her sister, Mariam Popson; her grandson Evan Heffner.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, Inc. 1003 Penna. Ave E, Warren, PA, 16365. Per Gloria’s wishes, no formal funeral services will be held.
