Obituary

Staff Sergeant Glen H. Mahood, U.S. Army (Retired), of Warren, PA. Age 59 passed away peacefully on February 4th, 2026.


A man of unwavering integrity and quiet strength, Glen's life was defined by selfless service to his country and family. He retired from the United States Army after a career built on duty and sacrifice. He served as a member of numerous Aviation medical evacuation teams and dedicated himself to the safe return of his fellow soldiers. He is a veteran of the Global War on Terror, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and Operation Enduring Freedom.


Glen was a pillar of strength and inspiration to his family. He is survived by his beloved wife, Debra L. Mahood, who stood unwaveringly by his side throughout his military service as well as his final moments; his two sons, Glyn L. Mahood and Tyler H. Mahood; and his daughter Megan L. Eckwahl. His legacy of resilience and lightheartedness lives on in his cherished grandson Stetson R. Mahood.


Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, Inc. 1003 Pennsylvania Ave E. Warren, PA. A viewing will be held at 4 PM on February 10, 2026, followed by a full military service at 6 PM located at the Peterson and Blick-Funeral Home. All Friends and Family are welcome.
