Geraldine E. Miller, 76, of Barnes died Monday, November 9, 2015, at the John & Orpha Blair Hospice House, following a brief illness.  Geraldine was born March 26, 1939, in Indiana, PA. She was the daughter of the late John and Geraldine Woytek.

Geraldine was employed by GTE Sylvania in the wire plant, retiring after over 30 years of service.  A very active member of the Sheffield community, Geraldine was a member of the Sheffield VFW Auxiliary and the Sheffield Volunteer Fire Department and the Barnes United Methodist Church, where she served as treasurer for several years.  She was also a member of the Sheffield Senior Center, where she enjoyed bus trips and going to the casino.  Geraldine enjoyed spending time watching the wildlife from her patio.

She is survived by three children, Randy Britton, and wife, Sandy, of Warren, Barb Stahlman, of Clarion, and Sandy McCain, and husband, Kelly, of Kingsport, TN; one brother, Carl Learn, of Edinboro; four grandchildren, Mike McCain, Chris McCain, Nathan Britton and Ashley Stahlman; 6 great-grandchildren; one niece, Jamie; and two nephews, Kevin and John.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Chester F. Miller.

Friends will be received at the Peterson - Blick Funeral Home, Inc, 1003 Penn Ave., E., Warren, on Thursday, November 12, from 5 to 8 p.m.

The funeral will be held at the Barnes United Methodist Church, on Friday, November 13, at 11 a.m., with Rev. Terry Teluch, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in Barnes Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Sheffield Volunteer Fire Department, 318 South Main Street, Sheffield, PA 16347.
