Gerald Eugene Albaugh, 89, of Warren, PA, passed away Saturday, November 30, 2024, at his residence. Gerald was born February 2, 1935, in Warren, the son of the late Herbert and Veda Smith Albaugh. He was a student of Warren High School. Gerald served in the U.S. Marines for three years during peacetime. He was in the reserves until 1962 and received the National Defense Service Medal and Good Conduct Medal. He was employed as a Maintenance Mechanic at Sylvania from which he retired in 1997. Gerald was a member of Holy Redeemer R.C. Church. He enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, playing corn hole and horseshoes. He also enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Gerald is survived by his wife, Georgianne Gehann Albaugh, whom he married on January 19, 1963; six children, Lisa Albaugh of Youngsville, Gary Albaugh and wife Jennifer of Youngsville, Rick Albaugh of Warren, David Albaugh and wife Deborah of Henderson, NV, Greg Albaugh of North Warren, and Michael Albaugh and partner Lisa Marie Morse of Warren; seventeen grandchildren; four great grandchildren; sister, Linda Houghtling and husband Jim of Clarendon; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Gerald was preceded in death by a son, Troy Patrick Albaugh; brother, Doyle Albaugh; and infant sister, Kay Marion. Friends will be received at Peterson-Blick Funeral Home Inc., 1003 Penna. Ave. East, Warren, PA, on Thursday, December 5, 2024, from 10:00am to 12:00pm, at which time a Memorial service will be held with Reverend Deacon Ray Weihagen, officiating.
