Geneva L. Nagy, 95, of Warren, died Tuesday, July 12, 2016, at Warren General Hospital.  Geneva was born September 10, 1920, in Youngsville, PA. She was the daughter of the late William Alexander and Minnie (Cooper) Lyon.

Geneva was a consulate wife for Voice of America with the State Department for 24 years.  She was also a member of the First Presbyterian Church.  Geneva enjoyed cooking large dinners, making clothing, crafts and quilts.  A devoted mother and wife, she enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by one daughter, Connie Mae Buerkle, and husband, Robert, of Warren; and three sons, William Nagy, Jr., and wife, Shoko, of Virginia Beach, VA, Richard Nagy, and wife, Kathy, of Vandergrift, PA, and Lannie Nagy, and wife, Nan, of Covington, TN; one sister, Alice Mabb, of Middlegrove, NY; 8 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death on April 5, 2001, by her husband, William C. Nagy, whom she married September 6, 1940; and her siblings.

Friends will be received at Peterson - Blick Funeral Home, Inc, 1003 Penn Ave., E., Warren on Friday, July 15, from 10 a.m. until 12 noon, at which time, a funeral service will be held there with The Rev. Jeffrey Ott, pastor, First Presbyterian Church, officiating.  Burial will be in Youngsville Cemetery.
