Gayle Nichols Williams, 85, of Warren, PA, passed away on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at the Mountain Laurel Nursing Home in Clearfield, PA. Gayle was born on May 13, 1938, in Warren, the daughter of the late John and Catherine (Nichols) Frontera. She was a 1956 graduate of Union City High School. She was a co-owner of the Blue Eye Inn and Red Brick Tavern and later worked as a cashier for Kmart from which she retired. She enjoyed coin collecting, loved bingo at the local firehalls, and loved her family, especially her grandchildren. Gayle is survived by her children, Cheryl Losey and husband Howard Jr. of Sheffield, PA, Robert Swanson Jr. and wife Selene of Kane, PA, Cynthia Chandler of Warren, PA, Nancy Vincent and boyfriend Larry Stanton of Russell, PA, and John Swanson of Warren, PA; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren, plus one on the way; a sister, Lori Statzer of Fl; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Gayle is preceded in death in 1995, by her husband, Robert Williams, whom she married in 1980, and also her first husband, Robert B. Swanson Sr.; sisters, JoAnn Pfohl, and Patricia Howes; brothers, John Frontera, and Sam Frontera. Friends will be received at Peterson-Blick Funeral Home Inc., 1003 Penna Ave. E., Warren, PA, on Saturday, July 29, 2023, from 11:00am to 1:00pm, at which time a funeral service will be held, with Lay pastor, Jean Olson, Lander Community Church, officiating. The family suggests memorial contributions in memory of Gayle be made to your local fire hall because of Gayle's love of bingo. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery, Russell, PA.
