Obituary

God gives us many beautiful blessings in different ways. Gail Francis Yaegle entered into God's Loving Arms on March 24, 2026. Born in Buffalo, N.Y. on November 30, 1933, to Augusta Wiese Ritter and Millard J Ritter. Gail graduated from Hampton High School, in Hampton, PA in 1951 and from American Banking College in Pittsburgh, PA., then she worked at Pittsburgh Home Savings.

Gail married Edward Yaegle at Bakerstown Presbyterian Church on February 12,1955. Ed preceded her in death in 2025.

Gail loved music. In high school she played trumpet in the band and orchestra. At home she played the organ, predominantly hymns for family and friends. There was a special bond when she taught her grandchildren and great grandchildren the sounds of the organ. She also enjoyed gardening and received many nice compliments on her beautiful flowers. Gail belonged to the Warren Garden Club for many years and served as VP, President, and Secretary. She volunteered at the Warren State Hospital doing garden therapy for the geriatric patients. She also co-founded the Woodland Garden on Market St. and Fourth Ave. Gail enjoyed feeding and watching birds, especially the tiny humming birds and the grand bald eagles. She enjoyed traveling with ED in their RV as they visited all of the lower 48 states. They also went to Mexico, Hawaii, Alaska and on many fun trips with the Sheffield and Warren senior centers.

Love of family was important to Gail. She is survived by her four children: Karen Havird (Steve), Paul (Tonia), Tom (Amy), and Debbie Yaegle. Seven grandchildren: Sharaya Vivian (Logan), Keith Yaegle (Libby), Rachel Yaegle, Mathew Beane, Alison Havird (Rick Weed), Heidi Arp (Brandon), and Christa Stamm (Taylor). Ten great grandchildren, her younger sister Barbara Jane Wadsworth, and two nieces. She always had a hug and a smile for everyone.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, Inc. 1003 Pennsylvania Ave. E. Warren, PA 16365. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 30, from 10-11AM with a funeral service to follow, officiated by Rev. Rick Hamrick.

Donations to the Shiners Children's Hospital and Paws Along the River are appreciated.
