Franklin G. Moore, 87, formerly of Warren, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 14, 2023, at his residence in Tidioute. Frank was born July 19, 1936, in Warren, PA, the son of the late Harold and Hazel (Brink) Moore. He attended the Warren High School, and then served in the U.S. Navy for four years. He then worked at Rexnord for 33 years from which he retired in 1999. Frank was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Warren, he was an Eagle Scout, a Scout Leader, a Little League Baseball Coach, a volunteer in the Big Brother program and active in the Indian Guides. Frank will be forever remembered as a loving father, grandfather, and friend to many. Frank is survived by his wife, Betty Baughman Moore; four sons, Eric F. Moore (Paula), of New Wilmington, PA, Devon G. Moore, of Pittsfield, PA, Lonny L. Moore (Nichole), of Tidioute, PA, and Zachary A. Moore (Lauren), of Bell Vernon, PA; ten grandchildren, Eric, Brook, Colton, Devon Jr., Katie, Cash, Honor, twins Kennedy and Sydney, and Peyton; two great-grandchildren, Adeline and Gunner; and a brother, Harold Moore of Salt Lake City, UT. In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by a sister, Loretta Scandreth. A Celebration of Frank's life is being planned and will be announced at a later date.
