Frank Robert Bruno, Sr., 87, of Tiona died peacefully on July 29, 2024. Frank was born on February 11, 1937, to the late Angelo and Elsie (Foster) Bruno. He was a 1955 graduate of Warren High School where he lettered in the marching band. Frank started as a salesperson for Goodyear and became a store manager. He worked most of his life in business for himself as an Automotive Exterior Merchandiser.

He was a proud member and vice president of the first chapter of the Optimist's Club in Lakewood, Colorado. Frank spent many years in Colorado and Utah before returning to Warren County in the 80s. He was a "car guy" and especially loved his pets six-wheeling, fishing and hunting the Arnet, and living out his years on the same land the Bruno's settled and farmed 120 years ago.

Frank is survived by his three children, Julie Bruno and her wife, Susan Laurie, of Chicago, IL, Joan Bruno of Raleigh, NC, and Frank (Rob) Bruno, Jr., of Blackhawk, CO; his cherished friend, Bud Bills and wife, Suzanne, of Spring Glen, UT; and his sisters Norita Skiff of Cary, NC, and Cathleen (Carl) Schroeder of Winter Haven, FL. He is also loved by his grandchildren, Ciera and Casey, and Ciera's three children, Arlo, Brantley, and Oaklynn. His dog, Lady, is now residing with Julie.

In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his wife of many years, La Juana.

His children wish to thank the many who provided in-home care over the years. The caregivers from Hospice of Warren County added to the quality of his life at home for months and provided support in his transition to the Rouse. And thank you to the team of staff at the Rouse for your care and communication.

No services will be held. His ashes will be interred at the St. Joseph Mausoleum.
