Floyd James Thomas, "Squeak", 64, of Clarendon, passed away from complications of COPD on Wednesday, April 10, 2020, at his home, surrounded by his family. Floyd was born on March 26, 1956, to the late Burdette ("Pete") and Louisa (Jennings) Thomas. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and time outdoors. He loved his family and they came first in his life. They will all miss him dearly. Floyd is survived by his children, Misti, Jeremy and Wyatt Thomas; his wife, Lola Thomas; his grandson,Michael Thomas; one brother Allan; several nieces and nephews; cousins; and his friend, Elizabeth Miller. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two infant daughters and four brothers William,Samuel, Burdette Jr. ("Bud"), and Richard, and a sister Sandra. A memorial service will be held later at the convenience of the family.
