Florence Marie Soderberg, 95, formerly of Warren Blvd, Warren,  passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2013 at the Watson Memorial Home.

Florence was born April 15, 1918 in Warren, PA, the daughter of the late Harry J. and Hattie Gollnick Ristau. A lifelong area resident, she attended Warren High School, and later worked at Millers Dress Shop, Metzgar and Wright, and Warren Components. She was a very active member of the former First Salem United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday School and was active in the Pursuaders, and the Christian Women's Association. She was also active in the Eastern Star.

Florence is survived by many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Florence was preceded in death in 1998, by her husband, Robert H. Soderberg, whom she married on March 18, 1938 at the First Salem United Methodist Church; and by an infant son, Robert H. Soderberg Jr.; two sisters, Dorothy Wickham and Eva Gustafson; and four brothers, Herman, Emil, Benjamin, and George Ristau.

Friends will be received at the Peterson - Blick Funeral Home, Inc, 1003 Penn Ave., E., Warren, PA, on Thursday January 2, 2013 from 10 am until 11 am at which time a funeral service will be held, with Rev. Rick Hamrick, pastor, Youngsville Free Methodist Church,  officiating.

Burial will follow in the Warren County Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to Hospice of Warren County, 2 Crescent Park, Warren PA, 16365 or to the Watson Memorial Home.
