Obituary

Everett Ray Burke, 86, of Warren, PA, passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2014, at the Warren Manor.  Mr. Burke was born December 23, 1927, in Warren, PA. He is the son of the late Llewellyn Tracy Burke and Inez Franklin Porter.

Mr. Burke served in the US Coast Guard, and later enlisted in the US Navy from 1945 to 1948.  He returned to Warren and was employed as a machinist at the National Forge, from which he retired.

He is survived by two daughters, Renee Smith and Rebecca Burke, both of Tempe, AZ; and one son, Jeffrey Burke, Warren, PA; two sisters, Sandra Ransom and Betty Dickerson, both of Warren, PA; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and his caregiver for many years, Nicole Walter, of Warren, PA.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death on August 5, 1966, by his first wife, Frances M. Burke; and on February 21, 2012, by his second wife, Jean A. Burke.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.  Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Warren, PA.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 1128 State St., Ste. 301, Erie, PA 16501-1920.
