Etta Marie Burke, 77, of 701 Rouse Avenue, Youngsville, PA, passed on Saturday, December 22, 2012 at Rouse Warren County Home.

Etta was born June 18, 1935, in Youngsville, PA, the daughter of the late Alfred and Lois Ralston Nichols. Etta was a lifelong area resident and a graduate of Youngsville High School. She was employed in Housekeeping at the Warren General Hospital for over thirty years, from which she retired. Among many things Etta enjoyed, she especially loved her family.

She is survived by one son, Richard Gariepy and his wife Debbie, of Conewango Valley, NY; a brother, James Nichols, of Warren, PA; two grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death in 1973 by her first husband, Donald R. Gariepy; her second husband, John L. Burke in 1994; two sisters, Helen Slocum and Ruby Barnes; and two brothers, Edward and Donald Nichols.

A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family.

Burial will be in the Pine Grove Cemetery.
