Esther K. Smith, 72, a resident of the Watson Memorial Home, 1200 Conewango Ave., Warren, PA, passed away on Friday, June 7, 2013.

Esther was born September 322, 1940, in Summerville, PA, the daughter of the late Walter and Loan Henry Smith. Esther was a 1959 graduate of Brookville High School and was later employed at GTE Sylvania in Warren, from which she retired.  She enjoyed music, needlepoint, her pets, and especially her family. She also enjoyed art, and took lessons from her sister-in-law, a very accomplished artist.

She is survived by three brothers,  Darrell Smith, Russell, PA, Richard Smith and wife Sandra, Buffalo, NY; and  Walter Smith and wife Charlene, Raleigh, NC; several nieces and nephews; and good friend, Vonnie Radecki, Warren, PA.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a sister, Pearl L Clapper; and her sister-in-law, Shirley Anne "Irish" Smith.

Friends will be received at the Peterson - Blick Funeral Home, Inc., 1003 Penn Ave., E., Warren, on Tuesday, June 11,   for one  hour prior to a funeral service to be held there on  at 12:00 noon, with Rev. Neil Siefert, retired pastor, and Hospice Chaplain, officiating.

Burial will be in the Thompson Hill Cemetery.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to a charity of choice.
