Emily R. Tuller, 96, of Russell, PA, passed away Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at her residence. Emily was born on December 26, 1926, in Warren, the daughter of the late Henry and Rosella Anderson Sorensen. She graduated from Warren High School, and she was later employed by Buffalo China in Clarendon, PA. She attended the First Church of the Nazarene and was a member of the Cable Hollow Community Church. Emily grew up in a log cabin for many years and later moved to Cobham Park Road. She loved flowers, nature, sitting on the porch, going on family trips, and camping at Redhouse, NY. She enjoyed bowling and playing golf with her husband, spending quiet time doing puzzles and reading her bible. Most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends. Emily is survived by her children, Leonard Tuller of Palm Coast, FL, Rebecca Hice, with whom she resided in Russell, PA, Barbara Schmader of Export, PA, Bonnie Barnett and husband Jim of Blue Ridge, VA, and Deborah Priest and husband Robert of Warren, PA; twelve grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; siblings, Curtis Sorensen of Erie, PA, Dennis Sorensen and wife Dawn of Warren, JoAnn Phelps and husband Stanley of Warren, Gladys Still of Warren, and Julie Mahan and husband Robert of Warren; several nieces and nephews; and her long time furry companion, Buffy. In addition to her parents, Emily is preceded in death by the love of her life on August 13, 2013, Ivan L. Tuller, whom she married on October 22, 1945; one granddaughter; infant twin great grandchildren; brother, LeRoy Sorensen; sister, Roseann Hennessy; son-in-law, Michael Schmader.
