Emilie Rossman, 96, of Warren, PA, passed away on Sunday, September 4, 2022, at Warren General Hospital. Emilie was born on December 26, 1925, in Warren, the daughter of the late Leonhart Andersen and Doris Snelding Andersen. She was a 1944 graduate of Warren High School. She worked for many years as an office manager for Dr. Turbessi. She was a lifetime and faithful member of St. John's Lutheran Church. A widow of a veteran, Emilie was a loving mother, wife, and grandmother, who enjoyed baking and walking. Emilie is survived by her two children, Andrea Atkins of Warren, PA, and Mark Rossman and companion Cathy Phillips, also of Warren; six grandchildren Aaron, Mynda, Taylor, Jenna, Bayli, and Rachel; six great grandchildren Ella, Pacen, Piper, Calvin, Leland, and Genni; brother Ronald Andersen and wife Bo of Jupiter, FL; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog, Harley. In addition to her parents, Emilie is preceded in death by her husband, Calvin "Gus" Rossman, whom she married on May 27, 1950, and who had passed on October 11, 2017; son Geoffrey "Jody" Rossman who passed on June 8, 2014; grandson Brooks Rossman who passed in 2017; brother John "Sonny" Andersen and sister Lynn "Patsy" Fisher. Friends will be received at St. John Lutheran Church, 200 Pleasant Dr. Warren, PA, on Saturday, September 10, 2022, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, at which time a funeral service will be held, with Reverend Jeffrey Ewing, officiating.
