Ellen M. Seiz, 56, of 510 Penna. Ave. E., Warren, PA, died on Thursday, November 6, 2014 at her residence following a brief illness.

Ellen was born February 6, 1948, in Philadelphia, PA, the daughter of the late Elwood and Mary McDonell Schell.  She was a graduate of Lansdale High School, and was a Wall-Mart manager, retiring due to illness.  She also worked in pharmacy at the Bassett Health Care in Cooperstown, NY.  Ellen was a loving mother, grandmother, and wife.

Ellen is survived by her husband, David M. Seiz, whom she married on June 21, 1980; a daughter, Rebecca Johnston (Michael), Warren; two grandchildren, Isabella Marie Johnston, and Michael Shawn Johnston; a sister, Geraldine Brady (Tony), Oxford, NY; two brothers, Ellwood Schell, Meadville, PA, and Gerald Schell (Debbie) , Pottstown, PA; her father in law, Carl G. Seiz, Russell, PA; and five nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Shawn Seiz, in 2002; and her mother in law, Judith L. Seiz.

Friends will be received at the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home Inc., 1003 Penna. Ave. E., Warren, PA, on Sunday, November 16, from 12 noon until 1 pm, at which time a funeral service will be held there with Rev. Rick Hamrick, pastor, Youngsville Free Methodist Church, officiating.
