Elizabeth "Beth" A. VanGelder, 66, of W Fifth Avenue, Warren, PA, passed away on Monday, December 24, 2012, at Warren Manor.

Beth was born September 14, 1946, in Washington, DC, the daughter of the late Francis and Gladys Mitchell Dore'. Beth was a graduate of Kane High School.  She then went on to become a nurses aide and worked at various nursing homes in the area, including Warren General Hospital and the Grandview Nursing Home.  She enjoyed watching old movies and soap operas.

She is survived by her companion of thirty two years, Randy Hedstrand, Warren, PA; one son,  Nathan Miller, Pittsburgh, PA; one brother, Francis Dore', Sanford, ME; three half sisters, Sharon Dore', Etobicoke, Ont, Canada, Kathleen Landi, Lake Ridge, VA, and Laura Sender, Springfield, MO; one half brother, Daniel Dore', Kane, PA; one step brother, Dan Bauer, Washington, PA; one step sister, Deborah Moskal, Houston, PA; one aunt, Mary Shinn, Brook Park, OH; one uncle, Bob Mitchell, Pewaukee, WI; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Edward Dore'.

A memorial service will be held at the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, Inc., 1003 Pennsylvania Avenue, East, Warren, on Saturday, December 29 at 3 p.m., with Rev. Mark Rusnak, pastor, Chaplain, Asera Care Hospice of Erie, officiating.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Asera Care Hospice, 1600 Peninsula Drive, Erie, PA 16505.
