Elizabeth L. "Liz" Nuhfer, 88, a longtime resident of Warren, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, February 22, 2016.  Liz was born April 10, 1927, in Heidelberg, Germany. She was the daughter of the late Adolf and Sophie (Koerbel) Adelmann.

Liz attended school in Germany where she became a Master Seamstress.  In Warren, she provided professional seamstress services from her home while raising her children with pride.  She was a member of the First Lutheran Church.  Among many things, she and Roger enjoyed Bingo, and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Roger S. Nuhfer; four sons, Marshal Nuhfer, and companion, Georgia Lewis, of Erie, Fred Nuhfer, and wife, Debbie, of Warren, Craig Nuhfer, and wife, Lori, of Alton, VA, and Sheldon Nuhfer, and wife, Anastasia, of Knoxville, TN; one daughter: Renee Rulander, and husband, Fred, of Tidioute.  She also has fifteen grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Liz was preceded in death by her sister, Wally Schneider.

Services will be private, and at the convenience of the family.
