Eleanor Lucille Dann, 74, of Warren, died Tuesday, April 3, 2018, at her home. Eleanor was born September 30, 1943, in Harris Township, WI. She was the daughter of the late Lester Louis and Lydia Eleanor (Kemnitz) Nelson.
Eleanor worked at many businesses in the Warren area throughout the years. She was a cook for the Westfield Area High School in Westfield, WI Warren County School District in Warren, PA and at the Little Caesar's in K-Mart.
A survivor of three different types of cancer, Eleanor was very active in the Breast Cancer and Alzheimer Walk every year in support of her friends & family. She enjoyed hosting Bible Studies, spending time with her friends and family, and also adored her 17 year old cat, Patches.
She is survived by her brother Edwin Nelson and Wife Kay, Sister Barbara Gollnick, three children, James Beers, Jr., and wife, Susan, of Westfield, WI, William Beers, and wife, Paula, of Coloma, WI, and Kristina Huling, and husband, David, of Russell, PA; ten grandchildren—Jennifer Beers, Vanessa Beers, James Beers, III, Lori Beers, Jesse Beers, Breanna Beers, all of Wisconsin, Brandon Huling, Matthew Huling, Ryan Huling, and Mason Huling, all of Russell, PA; 3 great-grandchildren—Destiny, Victor & Haylee along with several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Eleanor was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Duane Dann, brother Harvey Duane Nelson, and the father of her children James Lee Beers Sr., and brother in law Scott Gollnick.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 7, 2018, at Inter-Faith Chapel, Warren State Hospital, N. Warren, PA, at 11 a.m., with Rev. Rick Rohlin, pastor of Praise! Fellowship, officiating.
Private burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Russell, PA, at the convenience of the family.
