Eleanor G. "Ellie" Carlson, 78, of Clarendon passed away on Tuesday, July 22, 2014, after a brief stay at the Warren Manor.  Mrs. Carlson was born September 3, 1935, in Warren, PA, the daughter of the late Albert and Jennie Lawson Anderson.

Mrs. Carlson previously worked at Loranger's Manufacturing.  She was a member of the Red Hat Society and the Legion Auxiliary.  She was a loving mother and grandmother, and her whole life was about her family.

She is survived by her husband, Richard E. Carlson, whom she married March 20, 1993; two daughters, Debra Seastead, and husband, Barry, Warren, PA, and Barbara DeSantis, Pleasanton, CA; three step-children, Jeff Carlson, and wife, Kelly, Warren, PA, Brad Carlson, also of Warren, PA, and Lynn Carlson, Manchester, NH; six siblings, Harvey Anderson, of AZ, Victor Anderson, of NC, Larry Anderson, of FL, Louise Cummings, Warren, PA, Josie Roosevelt, Wanda, NY, and Geary Anderson, Pittsburgh, PA; nine grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death on September 9, 1980, by her first husband, William A. Gebhart; and her infant daughter, Christine Gebhart.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., on Thursday, July 24, at the First Lutheran Church, 109 W. Third Street, Warren, with The Rev. David Blank, pastor, officiating, and The Rev. Jeffrey Ewing, pastor, assisting.  Burial will be at Warren County Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 1128 State St., Ste. 301, Erie, PA 16501-1920.
