Eileen G. Edwards, 62, of Warren, passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at the Warren General Hospital. Eileen was born December 29, 1954 in Colver, PA, daughter of the late Donald and Helen Pilaski Rose. She moved to Warren when her father came to work building the Kinzua Dam. She was a 1972 graduate of Warren Area High School, and was employed at Blair for many years, and more recently at Northwest Bank. Eileen loved to travel, as she and Randy went somewhere every year for many years, to Hawaii, the Dominican, and New England to name a few. She and Randy also enjoyed motorcycle riding, and Eileen was a member of the American Legion Post 135, and a Charter Member of Youngsville Legion Post #658 Riders. Eileen enjoyed her home, her flowers and gardening, watching the wildlife, and collecting frog figurines and Angels, all of which is evident at her home. She enjoyed the holidays, especially Christmas and Easter, decorating, gift giving, and preparing meals. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many. She will be sadly missed by her family, and those who knew her. She is survived by her husband, Randy Edwards, whom she married on April 7, 1973; her daughter, Michele Pritzl and her husband Greg, of Warren; two sons, Donald Edwards and his wife Melissa, of Warren, and Doug Edwards and his wife Tina, of Sugar Grove; seven grandchildren, Gabriele and Landen Pritzl, of Warren, Nathan and Brooke Edwards, of Warren, and Cassidy, Cameran, and Catrina Edwards, of Sugar Grove; two brothers, Edwin Rose and his wife Linda, of Irvine, and Phillip Rose and his longtime companion Sue McKendree of Chandlers Valley, and many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, Inc., 1003 Penn Ave., E., Warren, on Wednesday, July 5, from 5-8 pm, and for one hour prior to a funeral service to be held on Thursday, July 6, at 12 noon, with Rev. Marcus Briggs, officiating. Burial will follow in the Weiler Cemetery In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to the Warren Cancer Center, 2 Crescent Park West, Warren, PA 16365.
