Edward Kuzminski Sr., 87, of Russell, PA, passed away on August 20, 2022, at Millcreek Community Hospital in Erie, PA. Ed was born on February 18, 1935, at home in Brokenstraw Township, the son of the late Michael Kuzminski and Mary Karss Kuzminski. Ed served in the United States Marines during the Korean War. Ed owned and operated Kuzminski logging and had also worked at the National Forge for 41 years. Ed was a member of the Eagles Club and the American Legion Post 135. He enjoyed his hunting trips to Colorado and fishing trips to Canada. Ed was a pilot and enjoyed flying his own plane. Ed is survived by his children Edward Michael Kuzminski and his wife Cathy of Warren, PA, and Dean Robert Kuzminski and his wife Tara of Russell, PA; twelve grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Ed is preceded in death by his wife, Margorie Smith Kuzminski, whom he married on June 29, 1957, and had passed on December 20, 2007; sons James Walter and David Scott Kuzminski; great- granddaughter Katerin Ann Kuzminski; and eight siblings. Friends will be received at Peterson-Blick Funeral Home Inc., 1003 Penna Ave. E. Warren, PA, on Saturday, August 27, 2022, from 1:00pm to 3:00pm, at which time a service will be held with pastor Bob Songers, officiating.
