Edward “Flash” W. Flasher, 79, passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at St. Vincent Hospital in Erie, PA, after an extended illness.

He was born in Warren to the late Delmar and Nellie Flasher on December 29, 1946.

He married his beloved wife, Suzanne Flasher, on October 17, 1970

Flash served his country in the United States Army as Sergent and was a very proud Veteran. He belonged to the Youngsville American Legion Post 658 and was a Mason of the Olive Temple Lodge No. 557. He worked at the old National Forge for 35 years, and earned his Associate’s Degree in Administration of Justice through the University of Pittsburgh at Titusville.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing, specifically deer season with his son. He liked to play pool and poker, and Bingo with his wife. He liked to watch television shows like Gunsmoke and Walker, Texas Ranger.

Flash is survived by his wife, his children, Rebecca “Becky” (Leo Francis) Hanlin, and Tim (Jen) Flasher; his grandchildren, Lexi, Maddie, Aaron, and Felicity; his great-grandchildren, Naomi and Journee; and his siblings, Mitz (Jeff) Anthony and Floyd (Betty) Flasher.

In addition to his parents, Flash was preceded in death by his brother, John (Sharon) Flasher, and his daughter-in-law, Rowena Flasher.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, Inc. 1003 Penna. Ave E, Warren, PA, 16365. A private Mass of Christian Burial will be held with his family.
