Edna Mae Williams, 87, formerly of Cambridge Warren, passed away on Sunday, August 19, 2012, at Warren Manor.

Mrs. Williams was born January 3, 1925, in Dunkirk, NY, the daughter of the late George and Hazel Brown Ernst. Edna was a graduate of Little Valley High School; she then attended Jamestown Business Institute.  Edna was always taking a craft class, and her family often received her crafts as gifts. She was a huge animal lover, and especially loved when her son, James, would bring his dogs to visit.

She is survived by her son, James Hice, and wife, Odette, Dunkirk, NY, her daughter, Karen Mazzu, and husband, Tom, Russell, Pa., and her son, Eugene Williams, and wife, Amy, Olean, NY; two grandchildren Daniel Hice and Jennifer Knisley; three great-grandchildren, Richard and Jacob Knisley and Whitney Hice; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ebenezer Williams, whom she married on January 14, 1955 in Bradford, Pa.; and two brothers, Edwin and George Ernst.

Friends will be received at the Peterson - Blick Funeral Home, Inc., 1003 Penn Ave., E., Warren, on Thursday, August 23, for one hour prior to a funeral service to be held there on Thursday, August 23 at 11:00 a.m.,  with Rev. Dave Heckman, pastor, Russell United Methodist Church, officiating.

Burial will be in the Little Valley Rural Cemetery.
