Edna Elaine MacLees, 93, of Miller Hill Rd., Lander, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 5, 2019. Edna was born November 7, 1925, in Oil City, PA, the daughter of the late John and Maymie Elder Coulter. Edna was formerly employed with Raymond's manufacturing in Corry, PA. and a longtime member of the North Warren Presbyterian Church, where she sang in the church Choir. She was a member of the Beaver Square Dance Club in Corry and several other clubs. She was an RSVP volunteer and a gracious donor and volunteer for many organizations. Edna enjoyed knitting and scrabble and spending time with her family and friends. She will be sadly missed by those who knew her. She is survived by her daughter, Anne Peppell, of Columbus, PA; three sons, John MacLees, of Phonix, AZ, Robert MacLees, of Columbus, Ohio, and David MacLees, of Panama, N.Y; two sisters, Maxine Pellican, of Corry, PA, Alice Bogert, also of Corry; Three brothers John Coulter, of Saltsburg, PA, Harry "Dutch" Coulter, of Corry, PA, and Merle Coulter also of Corry; and many grand and great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents Edna was preceded in death in 2004, by her husband, William MacLees, whom she married on September 30, 1946; a son, Richard MacLees, a sister, Etta Simmonsen; one grandchild and one great-grandchild. Friends will be received at the North Warren Presbyterian Church, 200 South State St, North Warren, PA, from 11 to 12 noon at which time a funeral service will be held with Rev. Burfoot Ward lll, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in the Foster Cemetery, Lander, PA. Those wishing to send condolences may do so by visiting www.petersonblickfuneralhome.com
