Dorothy L. Zimmerman, 66, of Warren, passed away peacefully with her family by her bedside on Saturday, July 11, 2015, at the Cleveland Clinic.  Dorothy was born April 29, 1949, in Warren, PA. She was the daughter of the late Ray and Adda F. McClain.

Dorothy was a lifelong area resident of Warren, and had retired from Targeted Pet Treats.  She had also worked at Servomation Refreshments, Inc., Jamesway and Bonton.  Previously, she and her late husband had owned a dairy farm, of which she was very proud.  She loved spending time with her family and especially adored her grandchildren.  As tradition, Dorothy would prepare her family a dinner every Saturday.

She is survived by three children, Donna Kavinski, and husband, Ray, of Warren, Chad Zimmerman, and wife, Aimee, also of Warren, and Nikki Oswalt, and husband, Allen, of Pittsfield; three sisters, Lora Bunting, and husband, Bob, of Sheffield, Betty Cook, of Warren, and Mary Straight, and husband, David, of Warren; one brother, Robert McClain, and wife, Gretchen, of Russell; one sister-in-law, Carol McClain; and one brother-in-law, Bill Brunner.

She also has six grandchildren, Ray Kavinski, and fiancé, Sarah, Patrick Kavinski, Allie Zimmerman, and fiancé, Kyle, Kayla Zimmerman, and fiancé, Brandon, Alex Oswalt and Matthew Oswalt; two step-grandchildren, Justin Smith and Michele Smith, and fiancé, Robert; one great-grandson, Jameson Whitten; and several nieces and nephews.

Dorothy was looking forward to being reunited with all her loved ones in heaven; she was especially excited to be reunited with her husband, Raymond H. Zimmerman, who passed away December 6, 2006.  In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Larry McClain and sister, Patricia Markey.

Friends will be received at the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, Inc. 1003 Penn. Ave. E., Warren, on Tuesday, July 14, from 5 to 8 p.m., and on Wednesday, July 15, from 10 to 11 a.m., at which time, a funeral service will be held there, with Rev. Dan Keefe, officiating.  Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery, Russell, PA.
