Dorothy Mae Wenzel, 95, formally of Russell PA, passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2024, while residing at Kinzua Valley Rehabilitaion Center. Dorothy was born May 8, 1928, in Lycoming County, Williamsport, PA, to the late Albert Tilman Doughtery and the late Edna Kathleen Stetler-Showers. Dorothy was employed at Warren State Hospital in the laundry and distribution center where she retired from in 1992. Dorothy was a kind, loving wife, mother, grandmother who loved her family deeply. She loved her animals and spent much of her time doing arts and crafts. Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Barbara Cobb (Thomas) of Warren PA; son, Daniel Gray (Roxxanne) of Cherry Grove PA; seven grandchildren, Michael Cobb, Tabatha Anderson, Thoms Cobb Jr, Bill Gray, Stephen Gray, Jessica Beech, Matthew Gray; several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Dorothy was proceeded in death by her loving husband, Robert l Wenzel Sr. whom she married on April 18, 1980; son, Louis Gray; daughter, Sharon Jones; sisters, Alice Frei, Martha Deparais; and brothers, Albert Doughtery, Richard Doughtery.
