Dorothy M. Fleming, 85, of Russell, PA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at her residence. Dorothy was born January 18, 1930 in Russell, PA, daughter of the late Ralph and Adda (Wiggins) Way. She was a 1947 graduate of the Russell High School. Sher took great pride in being at stay at home mother. Dorothy loved to read, enjoyed knitting, sewing, flower gardening, and especially her family gatherings. She held many fond memories of family and her camping trips, and fishing trips to Canada with her late husband. She is survived by three daughters, Nancy Melin (Ted) of Warren, Sandy Campbell (Garry) of Russell, Beth Burch (Jim) of Sugar Grove; two sons, Tom Fleming (Nellie) of Saylorsburg, PA, and Bob Fleming (Vicky) of Suffolk, VA; eighteen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; one niece, and one nephew. In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death on May 6, 2009, by her husband, James C Fleming, whom she married on October 11, 1947; a son, Jim Fleming on October 10, 1999; and her sister, Irene Clark, on September 10, 2014. A graveside committal will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, October 2, at the Pine Grove Cemetery. Friends will then be received from 2-3 pm at the Sugar Grove Mission Covenant Church, 7205 Matthews Run Road, Sugar Grove, PA, with a memorial service at 3:00 pm, with Rev. Brian Haight, officiating. The family suggests memorials be made to the Sugar Grove Mission Covenant Church, PO Box 300, Sugar Grove, PA 16350
