Dorothy "Dot" Mae Pearson, 87, of Warren, PA, passed away in the early hours of July 4, 2023, at the Rouse Home in Youngsville, PA. Dot was born on November 18, 1935, in Kane, PA, the daughter of the late Walter and Thuyra (Olson) Weborg. She was a 1953 graduate of Kane High School. She was a secretary for United Refining Company from which she retired, she also worked throughout the Warren County School District and later volunteered at South Street School. She was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran's Church in Warren and was an officer in the Women's group and was an active volunteer at the church. She was also a volunteer for the Literacy Council. Dot was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend to many. Dot is survived by her husband of 68 years, John W. Pearson, whom she married on June 18, 1955, in Kane, PA, Tabor Lutheran Church; four children, Susan Streich and husband Ed of Warren, Sharon Brady and husband Max of Warren, William Pearson and wife Kerry of Warren, and John Pearson and wife Beth of Warren; seven grandchildren, Julie, Christopher, Jami, Laura, Jillian, Hallie, Dayl; eleven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Dot is preceded in death by an infant daughter, Sally Anne; her siblings, Jean Grosch, Anne DeLong, and Walter Weborg. Friends will be received at the St. Paul Lutheran Church, 306 Conewango Ave., Warren, PA on Sunday, July 9, 2023, for one hour prior to a funeral service to be held there at 12:00 noon. The family suggests memorial contributions in memory of Dorothy M. Pearson may be made to Hospice of Warren County, 1 Main Ave., Warren, PA.
