Doris "Dorie" Campbell Larson Anderson, 83, of Warren, passed away on Friday, December 13, 2013, at the Warren Manor. Dorie was born July 9, 1930, in Kane, PA, the daughter of the late Leo J and Adeline L. Weaver Campbell. Dorie had been a longtime resident of Warren, PA, moving to Tucson, Arizona in 1993, and returning to Warren in 2011.
Dorie was a former member of the Calvary Lutheran Church of Tucson, AZ, and a former member of the First Lutheran Church, Warren, PA. She had been employed as a waitress at the Blue Manor Restaurant; and also worked at Kmart, and in the office at Jamesway.
She is survived by three daughters, Patsy Larson Swanson of Memphis, TN, Doreen Clark, and Debra Banko, and husband, Dan, both of Warren, PA, and one son, Clay Larson, and wife, Sue, of MI; one sister, Joan Berdine of Warren, PA, and one brother, Forrest Campbell, and wife, Cecelia, of Tuscon, AZ. Dorie is also survived by nine grandchildren, Wendi Heaton, Brenda Baker, Laurie Cohn, Adam Clark, Katelyn Benton, Dan Banko, Jeff Banko, Sarah Plas and Amanda Brannan; thirteen great-grandchildren, Noah, Adam, Logan, Luke, Nicholas, Andrew, Alyssa, Jackson, Rylan, Maci, Mikah, Lexi, Eloise; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Allen "Allie" L. Anderson, in January 1989; her grandson, Steven Banko; one brother, Bill Campbell; one sister, Pat Cady; two nephews, Randy Berdine and Billy Watt, and one niece, Dori Watt.
Friends will be received at the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, Inc. 1003 Pennsylvania Avenue, East, Warren, on Tuesday, December 17, from 5 to 8 p.m. A memorial and graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Asera Care Hospice, 1600 Peninsula Drive, Erie, PA 16505.
