Doreen C. Haight, 60, of Jamestown, passed away on Monday, October 22, 2018 at UMPC Chautauqua, unexpectedly, after a brief illness. Doreen was born June 29, 1958 in Jamestown, to the late Dorislee and Donald Grann. Doreen moved to Rochester, N.Y. in 1973, where she graduated from High School in 1976. She graduated from college with an associates degree in Human Resources in 1978. She married the love of her life, Edgar Haight, on August 25, 1979. They moved back to Jamestown soon after. Doreen worked for The Resource Ceneter in various positions, retiring in 2012, as an assitant residential manager. Doreen loved to play bingo, lottery tickets, crossword and jigsaw puzzles, and reading. Above all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. To know Doreen, was to love her. She was happy, friendly, and funny. She would do anything for anyone in need. She loved to crochet and would make afghans for her kids, grandkids and friends. Doreen's grandchildren feel that there is no one else as great and wonderful as she was. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her. Doreen is survived by her children, Lisa Jo Haight (Scott), Leeann Alger, Michael Haight and stepson, Phillip Reichardt; 7 grandchildren, Keirsten Haight-Ormsby (Marty), Kayla and Kendra Ormsby, Edward Alger III, Preston Haight, Cory Reichardt and Zackery Egroff; 2 great grandchildren, Kayden and Makeira Martinez; her sister, Dawn Dean; many many nieces and nephews in NY and PA;"adopted" kids, Rocco, Amanda, Samantha, Nichole and Julia; and her speical spoiled, Tiny. Along with her parents, Doreen was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Haight and her grandparents, Doris and Cleo Ricky and Eunice and Axel Grann. Friends and family will be revieved at the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, 1003 Pennasylvania Ave. E., Warren, PA 16365, Friday, October 26, 2018 from 12-2 pm, with a memorial service to follow at 2 pm, Rev. Bill Beaty, pastor, officating.
