Obituary

Donna Collier Sadler, 92, of Sheffield, passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at the Rouse Home.

Donna was born May 30, 1933, in Meadville, PA, the daughter of the late Albert Baker and Kathryn (McCaughtry) Collier. She grew up in Meadville, PA, where she graduated from Meadville High School in 1951. She was a member of the Meadville First Presbyterian Church where she sang in the choir and as a soloist. She worked at American Brake Shoe Company from 1951 until 1961 in the Accounting Department.

In 1961 she moved to the Warren area. In Warren she worked from 1964 to 1974 at GTE Sylvania and National Forge Company in Production Control and Accounting. From 1985 to 1990 she worked at (TAWC) Warren County Transit Authority and Pennsylvania General Energy Corporation in bookkeeping and accounting.

Donna loved reading, music and traveling. She was a member of the Warren Chapter of Sweet Adelines as a chorus member and in “The Lyricals” quartet. She was an active member of Warren Players and appeared in many musicals. She appeared in several “Warren Festival of the Arts” both as a soloist and a chorus member. She sang with Warren Community Chorus and the Warren County Fair Choir. She was a member of Philomel singing in the Philomel Chorus and also as an auditioned soloist. Donna was a member of First Methodist Church and sang in the choir and as a soloist. She was a Warren General Hospital Volunteer and served on the WGH Auxiliary Board as treasurer. She was a member of the Woman’s Club of Warren where she also served on the Board as treasurer. She was a former member of Warren Garden Club, and belonged to Warren Antique Study Club and served as treasurer.

Donna is survived by several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death on June 2, 2007, by her husband, William Bertrum “Bus” Sadler, whom she married on July 13, 1974; brother, Grant E. Collier; and in-laws.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Peterson-Blick Funeral Home Inc., 1003 Penna. Ave. East, Warren, PA.

There will be no services for Donna.
