Donna Ann Ponsoll, 85, of Warren, passed away on Friday December 16, 2016 at the John Blair Hospice House of Warren, PA.

Donna was born March 5, 1931 in Warren, PA, the daughter of the late William and Alice (Christianson) Wenzel. A lifelong Warren resident, she was a 1949 graduate of Warren High School. She was employed as an Administrative Assistant at the Blair Corporation for forty-six years, retiring in 2001. Donna was a member of the First Lutheran Church of Warren.

Throughout her career, Donna was first and foremost a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed baking incredible pies, cooking delicious meals, spending time in her beautiful garden, and taking care of animals, especially her dog Dottie, and her cat, Holly. Donna was also known for her generosity to many charities.

She is survived by one daughter, Susan Ann Nelson and husband Donald of Warren, PA; one son, Michael Andrew Ponsoll of Warren, PA; brother, Ronald Ponsoll and wife Carol, of Coudersport, PA; two grandchildren, Donna Marie Nelson and fiancé Matthew Gage; John Andrew Nelson and Renee; two great grandsons, John Andrew Nelson Jr., and Patrick Eric Nelson; step-grandaughter, Whitney Youngren, and husband Brent; and two step great grandchildren, Erik and Emilie.

In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death on December 27, 2006, by her husband, Richard Andrew Ponsoll, whom she married on July 17, 1954; and two brothers, Richard and Jim Wenzel.

Friends will be received at the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, Inc., 1003 Penna. Ave. East, Warren, PA, 16365, on Tuesday, December 20, from 6 to 8 pm, and on Wednesday, December 21, for one hour prior to a funeral service to be held there at 11 am, with Rev. Jerome Kennedy, pastor, Russell United Methodist Church, officiating.

Burial will follow Oakland Cemetery.
