Quiggle

Donald R. Quiggle, 82, of Warren, died Tuesday, December 8, 2015, at the John Blair Hospice House. Born May 7, 1933, in Warren, PA, he was the son of the late Raymond and Bertha (Park) Quiggle.
Donald was a 1951 graduate of Warren High School. He worked for the US Postal Service as a mail carrier, retiring after 33 years. He will be remembered as a good listener and friend to many. To his family, Donald will be cherished as great father and husband. He enjoyed spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren. He also stayed active playing golf at Cable Hollow, and had also coached little league and football.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Virginia (Bentley) Quiggle; one daughter, Diana Carter, and husband, Wallace, of Warren; one son, Terry Quiggle, and wife, Glory, of Naalehu, HI; three sisters, Sally Brooks, of Jamestown, NY, Nancy Morrison, also of Jamestown, NY and Bev Eldridge, and husband, Ted, of Warren; two brothers, Roger Quiggle, and wife, Diane, of Sanford, NC and Bill Quiggle, and wife, Lois, of Stuart, FL. He also has four grandchildren, Parker Carter, of Everett, WA, Renee Carter, of Warren, and Charles and Andrew Jennings, Citrus Hts, CA; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by his daughter, Christina Jennings in 1995; one sister, Marge Singer; and brother, George Quiggle.
Friends will be received at the Peterson - Blick Funeral Home, Inc, 1003 Penn Ave., E., Warren, on Saturday, December 12, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, at which time a funeral service will be held there, with Rev. Rick Hamrick, pastor, Youngsville Free Methodist Church, officiating.
Burial will follow in Warren County Memorial Park.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Warren County, 1 Main Avenue, Warren, PA 16365 or PAWS Along the River, 212 Elm Street, Warren, PA 16365.
