Dolores Jean Wilkins, 83, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 6, 2023, at Warren General Hospital. Dolores was born on November 9, 1939, in Stockton, NY, the daughter of the late Maynard and Alice (Wright) Dexter. She was a 1958 graduate of Eisenhower High School. She was a bus driver for Warren County School District and at the same time was a beautician in her home. She was a very active and faithful member of the Russell United Methodist Church, also singing in the church choir. She was part of the Russell Knitting Club and also enjoyed playing cards. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and friend to many. Dolores is survived by her children, Ronald K. "Kevin" Wilkins and wife Marcia of Russell, PA, Randy W. Wilkins of Russell, PA, Rodney D. Wilkins and wife Wendy of Warren, PA, Wendy Wilson and husband James of Russell, PA, Rory Wilkins of Warren, PA, and Annie Wilkins of Russell, PA; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-four great grandchildren; sister Linda Dexter Hall of Pittsburgh, PA; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Dolores is preceded in death in 1997 by her husband, Ronald V. Wilkins, whom she married on June 20, 1959; and sisters, Shirley, Carol, and Lanette. Friends will be received at Russell United Methodist Church, 17 N. Main St., Russell, PA, on Saturday, January 14, 2023, from 10:00am to 12:00pm, at which time a service will be held with the Reverend Bay Allen, officiating.
