Diane Lynne Peffer, 68, of Clarendon, died January 10, 2016, at UPMC Hamot Medical Center. Diane was born September 19, 1947, in Warren , PA. She was the daughter of the late Einer and Joan Anderson.

Diane was a 1965 graduate of Sheffield High School. She retired from the US Forest Service in resource management. Diane stayed active volunteering at Warren General Hospital; she also belonged to the Garden Club, Women's Club, Antique Club, the Clarendon VFW Women's Auxiliary, and the Red Hat Society. She was also a member of the Clarendon Borough Council.

She is survived by her husband, John E. "Jack" Peffer, whom she married May 23, 1985; three children, Tom Lobdell, and wife, Dottie, of Warren, Susie Lobdell, and wife, Sarah Mendak, of Pittsburgh, and Amy Bonder, and husband, Kraig, of Chicago, IL; one sister, Judy Scalise, and husband, Jeff, of Sheffield; two brothers, Craig Anderson, and wife, Cindy, of Tiona, and Brian Anderson, and wife, Susan, of Wooster, OH. She also has six grandchildren, Emily, Drew, Jimmy, Ellie, Chase and Cole; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Peterson - Blick Funeral Home, Inc, 1003 Penn Ave., E. , Warren , on Wednesday, January 13, from 4 to 7 p.m. The funeral will be held there on Thursday, January 14, at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Dr. Mark E. Hecht, pastor, First United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be private at Sheffield Cemetery .
