Deborah S. Lord, 53, of Warren, passed away peacefully after a five-year journey with cancer on Friday, August 18, 2017, at her home. Deborah was born December 11, 1963, in Warren, PA. She is the daughter of Floyd and Joan (Hoffman) Hulings, of Warren.
A lifelong Warren resident, Deborah graduated from Warren Area High School in 1981. She was employed by the Warren County School District as a secretary for the past 18 years. She was a member of the Relay For Life Team--WCSD Central Office; and Moose Lodge 109, where she enjoyed playing bingo.
A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, Deborah's family was her life. In addition to her parents, Deborah is survived by her husband, Kris Lord; two daughters, Cassandra Galbier, and partner, Leo, of Nevada City, CA, and Courtney Davidson, and husband, Ian, of Warren, PA; one son, Curtis Lord, and boyfriend, Jordan, of Warren, PA; one sister, Kim Pollock, and husband, John, of Warren, PA; three grandchildren, Griffen, Kinley, and Zennith; and several nieces and nephews.
Deborah was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents.
Friends will be received at the Peterson - Blick Funeral Home, Inc, 1003 Penn Ave., E., Warren on Monday, August 21, from 5 to 8 p.m., and at the First Lutheran Church, 109 W. Third Ave., Warren, on Tuesday, August 22, from 10 to 11 a.m., at which time a funeral service will be held there, with The Rev. Jeffrey Ewing, pastor, officiating.
Per Debbie's request, please come dressed brightly and casually.
