Dawn M. First, 47, of VanBuren Street, Jamestown, NY, and Warren, PA, passed away on Sunday, December 21, 2014, at John Blair Hospice House of Warren, PA.  She was born October 21, 1967, in Miami, FL, the daughter of Donald J. and Elvira M. Hernandez First of Warren, PA.

Dawn was a 1985 graduate of Warren Area High School, and a 1990 graduate of Slippery Rock University, obtaining a B.A. in Language, majoring in French and Spanish.  She was previously employed at Quality Markets until closure, and most recently employed at Tops Market in Jamestown, holding many management positions.  She was a member of the former First Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by one sister, Evonne McKinley, and husband, Scott, of Swedesboro, NJ, and one brother, Donny First, of Warren, PA; and one half sister, Francine Hogan, and husband, Duane, of Erie, PA; and nephews, Liam and Holden McKinley, and Anthony Nelson, all whom lovingly referred to her as "Tia Mimi", and whom she adored.

She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents.

A memorial service will be held at the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, Inc., 1003 Penna. Ave. E., Warren, on Saturday, December 27, at 2 p.m.  Rev. Rick Hamrick, pastor, Youngsville Free Methodist Church, will officiate.
