IN LOVING MEMORY OF
David
Fiscus
May 22, 1942 – August 16, 2019
David S. Fiscus, 77, of Sheffield, PA, passed away on Friday, August 16, 2019, following a brief battle with cancer. David was born May 22, 1942, in Sheffield, the son of the late Braden and Martha Marshal Fiscus. A lifelong resident, David attended school in Sheffield, and went on to work at PDM Steel as a welder and fitter, retiring as a foreman after forty- one years. He was involved with the construction of the St. Louis Arch and was proud to be a part of that project. Known to his family as a "Jack of all Trades" he was handy at doing near anything. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and was an avid Penn State football and wrestling fan. He enjoyed spending his time with his loving wife, his children, and especially his grandchildren. David is survived by his wife, Judy Johnson Fiscus, whom he married on August 22, 1964, in Kane, PA; three children, Tim Fiscus and his wife Brenda, Kimberly Fiscus Schultz, and Jeffrey Fiscus and his wife Nikki, all of Sheffield; two sisters, Pearl Sutton of Youngsville, and Judy Wester and her husband Ben, of Middleburg Heights, OH; eight grandchildren, Kevin, Jordan, Corbin, Taylor, Sara, Shannon, Madeline, and Mary Kate; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary McCulla, and Virginia Keene; and three brothers, Harold, Braden "Butch", and Robert Fiscus. The family will receive friends on Monday, August 19, from 6 to 8 pm at the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, Inc., 1003 Penna. Ave. East, Warren, PA, and for one hour prior to a funeral service to be held there at 11 am on Tuesday, August 20, 2019. Rev. Dorothy Hilliard, Hospice Chaplain, and pastor of the Faith Fellowship Church of God will officiate. Burial will follow in the Sheffield Cemetery. The family suggests memorial donations be made to a charity of choice.
