David James Davies, 92, of Warren, PA, passed away Saturday, November 30, 2024, at Snyder Memorial Health Care Center, Marienville, PA. David was born December 12, 1931, in Great Valley, NY, the son of the late Edward and Isabel Myrick Davies. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War from 1952 to 1954. He enjoyed working in the Oil Fields for Weldbank Energy and retired at the age of 84. David was a member of the Pine Grove Sportsmen's Club where he thoroughly enjoyed trap shooting. He also enjoyed hunting and could fix anything. He also enjoyed spending time with his family. David is survived by his three daughters, Jeanne Smith and husband Steven of Great Valley, NY, Mary Jane Vincent and husband Michael of Warren, and Theresa Kent and husband Dean of Ellicottville, NY; eleven grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; brother, Alfred Davies and wife Nancy of Warren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his wife, Mary M. Schmader Davies, whom he married December 31, 1955; son, Edward Davies; sister, Margaret Hoffman; and brothers, John Davies and (infant brother) William Davies.
