Daniel P. Lewis, 83, of Russell, PA, died Wednesday, May 6, 2015, at Warren General Hospital.  Daniel was born January 13, 1932, in West Virginia. He was the son of the late Samuel and Margaret Lewis.

He was employed by Struthers Wells as a Layout Draftsman for many years, from which he retired.  Daniel was a past Grand Master of the North Star Lodge #241.  An avid outdoors man, he enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Lois E.(Jennings) Lewis; two daughters, Barbara Lewis, of Clarendon, PA and Beverly Craft, and husband, Mark, of Jamestown, NY; and three sons, Daniel Lewis, and wife, Sandy, of Warren, PA, Terry Lewis, and wife, Peggy, of Jamestown, NY, and Ronald Lewis, and wife, Brandy, of Pittsfield, PA; one sister, Joyce Moore, and husband, Paul, of Tidioute, PA; 9 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Rex and Richard Lewis.

Friends will be received at the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, Inc. 1003 Penna. Ave. E., Warren, on Saturday, May 9, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, at which time, a funeral service will be held there, with Rev. J. Mark Hurst, pastor, Lander United Methodist Church, officiating.

Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
