Dana Paul Myers, 51, of 307 Market Street, Warren, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 17, 2012 at his residence.
Dana was born March 31, 1961, in Warren, the son of the late Marshall W. Myers Jr. and Joan Broadhead Myers See of Warren. Dana, a lifelong area resident, was a 1979 graduate of Youngsville High School, and served his country in the United States Air Force for four years. He was most recently working in the Maintenance Department at the Warren Mall.
Dana enjoyed motorcycling, attending motocross races, enjoyed the outdoors, hunting with his father, and loved dogs. He especially loved entertaining his nieces and nephews, whom he adored. Dana was a member of the American Legion Post 135.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by two children, Ashley and Brandon Myers of North Carolina; two sisters, Tracey Miller and her husband LaVerne, Mayville, NY, and Pamela Soliday and her husband Wenzel, Newport News, VA; three brothers, Marshall Myers III and his wife Kathy, West Hempstead, NY, Craig Myers and his wife Annette, Warren, PA, and Todd Myers, Las Vegas, NV; five step brothers, David See and his wife Mary Sue, Warren, Dexter See and his wife Nancy, Youngsville, Douglas See and his wife Jean, Green Castle, PA, Dennis See and his wife Susan, Binghamton, NY; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his step father Harley See.
Friends will be received at the Peterson - Blick Funeral Home, Inc., 1003 Penn Ave., E., Warren, on Friday, November 23, from, 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held Saturday, November 24 at 11:00 am, at the Trinity Memorial Episcopal Church, 444 Penna. Ave. W., Warren, PA with The Rev. Matthew Scott, Priest in Charge , officiating.
Burial will be in the Youngsville Cemetery with Military Honors provided by the Youngsville American Legion Honor Guard.
Memorial donations may be made to the family in care of the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home Inc.
