Dale M. Brown, Sr., 72, of Clarendon, passed away on Monday, October 19, 2015, at Warren General Hospital.  Dale was born August 29, 1943, in Titusville, PA. He was the son of the late Leo L. and Lavina Loomis Brown.

Dale served in the US Navy from 1961 to 1966, at which time he transferred to the Naval Reserve.  He was employed by the US Forest service, from which he retired.  In his younger years, he was a member of the Grand Valley Methodist Church.  He loved hunting, fishing, and was an avid NASCAR fan.  A mechanic by trade, he was always tinkering around with various projects and could fix practically anything.  Dale was also a dedicated and proud member of AA for over 30 years.

He is survived by his wife, Debra (Streich) Brown, whom he married November 26, 1994, at the Grand Valley Methodist Church; five children, Doris Brown, and significant other, Richard Harr, Meadville, Dale Brown, Jr. and significant other, Brenda, Saegertown, Lela Marsh, and husband, Greg, Titusville, Leo Brown, and wife, Amanda, Meadville, and Daniel Brown, Clarendon, PA; two siblings, Noreen Kellogg, VA, and Gerald Brown, Gastonia, NC; two half-siblings, Lora Wester, Warren, and Robert "Buster" Frew, Jr., Erie, PA; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-father, Robert M. Frew, Sr.; daughter, Tina Reid; grandchildren, Veronica, Amanda and Timothy Reid; and two siblings, Donna Smith and Leland Brown.

Friends will be received at the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, Inc. on Friday, October 23, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at which time, a funeral service will be held there, with Rev. Rick Hamrick, pastor, Youngsville Free Methodist Church, officiating.  Burial will be in Loomis Cemetery.
