April 21, 1939 – January 3, 2020
Coral Mae "Coke" Hoover 80, of Russell, PA, passed away January 3, 2020, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born April 21, 1939, the daughter of the late Gerald "Stub" and Velma Anderson Osborne. Coral was employed at Jamesway, Bon-Ton and most recently, the American Cancer Society. Coral was foremost a homemaker and a mother. She was a very crafty lady, enjoying hand stitch cards, painting, crocheting and knitting. She was also an avid bowler. Coral enjoyed her family especially her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by many. In addition to her parents, Coral was preceded in death by her husband Richard Hoover, who passed away March 30. 2003, her sisters, Claudia Barr, Katherine Risley and Shirley Shinn: her brothers, Curtis Arp and Thomas Osborne. She is survived by her children Lisa Rivett of Russell, Louis (Kimberly) Rivett Jr, of Youngsville. Her siblings, Dennis (Deanna) Arp, of Warren, Geraldine Lindell, of Russell, Donna (Alfred) White, of Mechanicsburg; a sister- in -law Sally Arp, of Russell; eight grandchildren, Amber (Timothy) Brecht, Amanda Maher, Cody (Hannah) Rivett, Lacy (Aaron) Nicklas, Megan (Matt) Saeli, Matthew (Jenny) Stanton, Jennifer (Brent) Tomlonovic, and Sara (Cody) Huff; nine great-grandchildren, Riley Monda, Trinity Maher, Eivin Maher, Henry Rivett, Harper Saeli, Lucas Stanton, Jayden Thayer, Luci Williams-Huff, and William Huff. Friends will be received at the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home Inc., 1003 Penna. Ave. East, Warren, PA, on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 from 3 to 6 pm, and for one hour prior to a funeral service to be held there at 11 am on Wednesday, January 8, with Rev. Larry Condron, officiating. Burial will be in the Pine Grove Cemetery, Russell, PA In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to Hospice of Warren County, One Main Ave. Warren, PA, 16365
