Constance M. Raleigh, 84, of Water Street, Warren and formerly of Liberty Street, passed away on Friday, March 30, 2012 at Golden Living -Kinzua Valley.
Constance was born November 17, 1927, in Charleston, WV, the daughter of the late James and Permelia (Rose) Casto Lawson. Connie was employed by G.T.E. Sylvania for twenty-one years as a quality control inspector from which she retired and also had worked as Cowdricks Drug Store for ten years in the cosmetics department. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church where she was active in the Senior Fellowship. She was also a member of the Eagles Club and the Eastern Star in Youngsville.
She is survived by her two children, daughter, Barbara Rodgers and her husband Walter, Port Richey, FL; son, Thomas Raleigh and his wife Christine, Warren; grandchildren, Rick and Dan Thomson, Tommy Raleigh, all from Warren and Carrie Raleigh Loney, Raytown, MO; great-granddaughter, Melissa Thomson, Maddison Thomson, Zoe Loney; and a sister, Gail Lawson Blevins, Louisville, KY.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, James Edward Lawson.
A memorial service will be held at a later date and at the convenience of the family.
The family suggest memorial contributions be made to Warren Library Association, 205 Market St., Warren, PA 16365.
