Clarence J. (Snorkie) Snyder, 75, of Warren, passed away on Monday, April 20, 2020, at home. Clarence was born on May 30, 1944, in Brookville, PA, to the late Clarence J. Sr. and Ethel (Bockoras) Snyder. Clarence was employed at the United Refinery and also served in the U.S. Navy. After retirement, he worked as a lifeguard at the Warren YMCA. Clarence enjoyed cooking, gardening and he adored his two cats, Sophia and Alexis. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. Clarence is survived by his loving wife, Linda (Nero) Snyder; his children, Shawn (Jill) Snyder, of Denton, N.C. and Amy (Michael) Lueck, of Las Vegas, Nevada; a grandson, John Harriman, of Shippensburg; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Janet Owen. The family has asked that memorial donations be made to PAWS Along the River Humane Society, 212 Elm St, Warren, PA 16365.
