Christine Louella Ramcumar, 66, of Sugar Grove, PA, passed away early Thursday, November 17, 2022, at her home surrounded by her family caregivers (Cody, Cheyenne, Erin, Tina, and James Groves). Christine was born on January 25, 1956, in Warren, the daughter of Richard M. Hunt, who survives, and the late Norma Maine. She attended Warren Area High School. She worked for many years as a nurse's aide at Kinzua Valley, Warren Manor, and the Barley Home. She also worked as a Psychiatric Aide at Warren State Hospital.

In her youth, she attended the Wesleyan Church of Warren, Christine had a presence larger than life. She loved to spend time with family (particularly her grandchildren). She enjoyed the outdoors, and nature. She was especially proud of her Indian Heritage.

In addition to her father, Christine is survived by her three children, Tina Groves and husband James of Sugar Grove, PA, Misty Sandagata and husband James of Warren, PA and Brandy Valdez of Scranton, PA; fourteen grandchildren, Cody Groves, Kurtis Groves (Megan Lindstrom), Cheyenne Groves, Mark Zurcher, Erin Groves, Andrew Cummings (Tara), Audwin Philip Jr, Brett Cummings, Keyzhawn Philip, Elijah Cummings, Antonio Valdez, Donnie Sandagata, James Sandagata Jr, Lilian Sandagata; seven great grandchildren, Lillia Groves, Bailey Edwards, Emberlyn Groves, Theo Vanguilder, Torben Groves, Jordyn Zurcher, Brooklyn Manross; sister Denise Braley and husband Tom of Sugar Grove, PA; brother Russell Maine and wife Doreen of Sugar Grove, PA , several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her mother, Christine is preceded in death by sisters, Deborah Hunt, and Cindy McIntosh.

A celebration of life will be held at the Chandlers Valley Methodist Church on Saturday, November 26, 2022, at 1:00 pm with a dinner in her honor to follow at the Chandlers Valley Community Center.

Christine's family would especially like to thank all of the staff at the Warren Cancer Center, the nurses in Warren General Hospitals Critical Care Unit, Hospice of Warren County, and the SGVFD for their compassion and constant care and concern.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions may be made to Warren Cancer Center, 2 W Crescent Park, Warren, PA.
